Getting the scrapping bug again...

I can feel it, that itch to scrapbook. I'm definitely ruled by which way the desire flows that's for sure. Usually it's one or the other but lately it's been the urge to scrapbook AND the desire to stitch. What a dither! Stitching has won lately and I'll be updating with a new picture of Purple Passion shortly. I only stitch on my days off ( I work part time at a bookstore) so it's only been worked on a couple of days. I'm really enjoying the pattern and the colors! It's a fast stitch too.

Coming up on the 4th of July holiday here, and that's always been fun since my birthday is July 3rd. When I was little, I used to think the fireworks were just for my birthday! My parents let me think that too! Boy was I disappointed!

Another New Start!!

I admit it-- I have startitis! I get bored with my current stuff and nothing will do until I find something new (hopefully in my stash!) and begin the process of matching fabric with chart and floss. It's a rush, an excitement of possibilities! The first stitch makes my heart trip a bit and I love watching the beginning of the design take shape.

So yesterday I gave in to my startitis and started Keslyn's Purple Passion. TO see this design and the other ones Keslyn's offers go visit their website.

Here's the picture of my start. I'm using Gloriana Seaweed and Silvery Moon Belfast Linen. I think it looks yummy! I'll post more when it's further along!

Autumn Fairy Spirit WIP Progress

Slowly I want to add WIP pictures of all my WIPs and figure out how far along I am on them but for now we'll start with one! I'd say I'm 70% done with her but there's so much more to go. She's Autumn Faery Spirit from Passione Ricamo done on Snickerdoodles Belfast Linen from the now gone SMF.

Back in the saddle again

Okay, we'll try this blogging thing again.... I used to have a blog, but stopped posting in it after my mother passed away.

So as the title suggests I have two main hobbies-- Cross stitching, my first love. My obsessional love as it were. Now add scrapbooking, getting to be a close second love and obsession. My family tolerates me I swear LOL.

So here is where I'll detail my foibles and follies! I know everyone is most excited :)
